Richard Colwell, Managing Director
Richard has worked in the research industry for 20 years, using qualitative and quantitative techniques to design research solutions for the Retail, Telecommunication/IT and FMCG industries. He graduated from the University of Surrey in the UK, with an honours degree in Geography.
Before setting up RED C in 2003 he worked at Lansdowne Market Research for 5 years, having spent 9 years prior to this at ICM research and Research International in London.
He has worked extensively on the development and tracking of advertising, promotion evaluation, customer satisfaction measurement techniques and market segmentation, plus also being heavily involved in polling both in the U.K. and Ireland.
Sinead Mooney, Deputy Managing Director
Sinead has almost 20 years experience in the market research industry. A graduate of the College of Marketing and Design and a member of the Marketing Institute, Sinead specialises in quantitative research, incorporating the latest techniques and statistical analysis to provide the greatest level of insight and clarity on each project. Sinead was a director in Lansdowne Market Research prior to co-founding RED C Research in June 2003.
She has extensive expertise in conducting research into the changing behaviours of consumers and has worked closely with several blue chip clients developing individual research solutions to meet client requirements.
Carol Fanagan, Business Strategy Director
Carol Fanagan joined RED C in June 2011, having spent 21 years as a market researcher with Millward Brown Lansdowne, during which time she was Managing Director of Millward Brown IMS, and Deputy Managing Director of the merged IMS and Lansdowne companies.
As a dualist, Carol is an expert in both qualitative and quantitative techniques, and her experience and knowledge assures clients of the highest degree of understanding, knowledge and insight into their customers, their brands and their advertising. Carol’s experience spans many sectors with experience in travel, fmcg, financial and telecommunications research.
Annette White, Research Director
Annette is a dualist researcher, equally proficient in qualitative and quantitative methods, with over ten years research experience. She graduated from University College Cork, with a BA in Geography and Sociology, and then gained an MSc through the Food Economics department at UCC. Prior to joining RED C in 2003 she worked at Lansdowne Market Research for almost three years where she was involved in a range of national and international projects.
Annette is involved in the design, co-ordination, and reporting of many projects. Her experience spans many industries including financial, medical, tourism, insurance and retail industries.
Michelle Lowry, Operations Director
Michelle manages all data collection and analysis departments within the company, managing a team of 10 on site staff and all part time interviewers.
Michelle’s core skills are in data analysis, and she is highly regarded in the research industry for her skills in analysis generally, and specifically for more detailed and intricate analysis techniques.
Michelle joined RED C Research in 2004 from Research Solutions. She has been working in the Irish research industry for the past 20 years including time at Lansdowne Market Research and her own independent analysis company.
Emer O’Carroll, Qualitative Director
Emer has more than 20 years experience in consumer research, specialising in the qualitative field. With a background in Sociology and Political Science from Trinity College and a European Business Studies Diploma from EAP in Paris, she started in market research in 1985. Having worked in Dublin, London and with experience in European projects she joined RED C in 2004. Emer is a guest lecturer in UCD Smurfit Business School, where part of her role in teaching qualitative methods.
Throughout her career Emer has worked on a vast array of products, services, and lifestyle projects. Her experience in qualitative exploration has covered almost all areas and her interest remains fresh and enquiring.
Bryan Cox, Director
Bryan graduated from Dublin City University with a Bachelor in Business Studies specialising in Marketing and has worked in the research industry for ten years. He started his career at AC Nielsen building in house hierarchical client specific data systems for category management analysis. He then joined Lansdowne Market Research where he was involved across different industries including retail, media, telecommunications and FMCG, managing several large scale tracking studies.
Bryan is a dualist, equally proficient in both qualitative and quantitative research. Since joining RED C in June 2005 he has run a range of different face to face, telephone and focus group projects for a number of blue chip clients.
